•Muhurta offers directions to remove obstacles found in natal chart. The chart (kundli) is for diagnosis, Muhurta is for remedies. Muhurtha is also preventive.

•Venus plays an essential role in both healing and prevention of conflict, since she rules Libra, the opposite sign (7th) from Aries (ruled by Mars, the ruler of War). Venus is the soft spoken pacifier, the artist, the singer that makes your heart melt, the Peace mediator, as well as a strong healer when particularly associated with Ashlesha Nakshatra, ruled by friendly Mercury (the intelligent transporter of Knowledge. Mercury is “the genie in the bottle” and Shukra is the Deep Source of its power to make human wishes come true!).

•In Muhurta, Panchanga elements are used in order to SELECT the best TIME for the native’s needs: to undertake a ritual/ ceremony of marriage, or to sign a very important business contract, or to buy a house, or to start a treatment/ surgery etc.– the main objective is to give support (strength) to the Moon and to the Ascendent Lord (L1), as well as H1. There are many rules to be followed very strictly in selecting the Time: ex. in Taurus (Venus ruled sign) the first 3 degrees will be avoided, whereas in Libra the middle section will be avoided.

•Vaara: Tuesdays and Saturdays are avoided, whereas Friday ruled by Venus is auspicious.

•Tithi: S4, K4, S8, K8, S14, K14 are categorically avoided for any auspicious work.

•S1, S6 and S11 of Venus are considered auspicious, provided the other Panchanga elements are supportive.
