The Moon secrets of January 2023

Purnima (Full Moon) took place on 6th of January 2023, in Ardra, Gemini. Natives with Lagna, Atma Karaka, Sun or Moon in Ardra, or strongly influenced by Rahu, felt this influence the most.

The main negative results of this Purnima had been seen on 12 January through the elements ruled by Purva Phalguni, on 17 January through the elements of Vishakha and on 21 January (Amavasya) through the elements of Uttara Ashadha.

The main positive results will be seen on 25th of January through the elements of Purva Bhadrapada and on 30th of January through the elements of Krittika.

On 6th of January 2023, the following positions in transit came into effect: Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius, Saturn and Venus in Capricorn, Jupiter in Pisces, Rahu in Aries, Mars in Taurus, Moon in Gemini and Ketu in Libra.

Between Purnima (6 Jan) and Amavasya or Dark Moon (21 Jan) there were approx. 15 days of progressive energy decrease (or Waning Moon phase, or Krishna Paksha). These decreasing energies pass, as we speak, through the energy zones of Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius. These areas of your life were influenced, by the latest Purnima.

Today, 24 January, the Moon is in Shatabisha, Aquarius, together with Saturn and Venus, receiving the 9th Aspect from Ketu in Swati (ruled by Rahu) and is already building up new and tremendously powerful energy, amplifying through Shukla Paksha (growing or waxing path of the Moon) in order to reach the next Purnima or completion, which will take place on February the 5th, in Ashelsha.
